WELCOME TO HOPE VALLEY

Chuck and his wife, Teresa, have been members of the East End community since they were first married 30 years ago. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren who they are very involved with. Chuck’s first business, C&C Foreign, was formed with his dad in 1993. Chuck became interested in Real Estate investment and bought his first mobile home park in 1998, followed by a second and third in 1999 and 2000. After several years of making long trips to obtain supplies for maintenance and repairs, Chuck knew that a great hardware store was a real need in the community and set his mind on making it a reality. With no personal retail experience, he was turned away for financing time and time again, but he refused to give up. After two years of research, applications, and much perseverance, he was able to break ground on Sanders Ace Hardware in 2003. For the next year, Chuck and his brother-in-law Glenn, worked tirelessly alongside several friends and family members to make Ace a reality. From digging the footings to the entire interior finish-out, everything they could do themselves; they did while still working other jobs. In 2004, Ace finally opened and has been a staple of the community, providing a vital service to East Enders, ever since. In 2013 Chuck added Mahindra to his operation and in 2015 he built a separate Mahindra location right next door to Ace. Through the years, he continued to recognize services that were missing from the community as well as a growing need for more quality housing. In 2019, Chuck sold Mahindra and in late 2020 acquired 371 acres at the corner of highway 167 and Arch. This is where Chuck’s vision for a new, quality mixed-use development was born. Today, Hope Valley Estates phases 1,2, and 3 are nearly full of beautiful new homes. The first two commercial buildings are full, with two new buildings just recently completed and filling quickly. Commercial lots are available for purchase or build-to-suit and the next two phases of Hope Valley will break ground in November 2023. Chuck has staffed an experienced real estate broker and POA manager as well as a professional designer and top of the line contractor to ensure that Hope Valley becomes and remains the very best place to live in East End.

Karen comes from a family of lifelong farmers and grew up right here in Arkansas just 10 mins from East End. She credits having done the hard work that farm life requires, with instilling a strong work ethic and integrity in her that translates to efficient, fair, and ethical service for her clients. Karen has been a member of the East End community for 18 years and has been a member of Grace Church for most of that time. Karen is a licensed broker with over 20 years of real estate experience. Having joined the Hope Valley team in 2022, she fills several roles including residential sales, commercial leasing, and management, and POA management. Other experience that contributes to her roles at Hope Valley include several years of retail experience, 5 years in insurance claims, over 11 years in HOA management, over 20 years of construction and project management, along with extensive training in contract negotiation. While experience is certainly key, Karen’s true passion is for the people. The homeowners, the clients, and the tenants; people are at the heart of Karen’s personal real estate business and at the heart of Hope Valley. Karen is passionate and determined to make Hope Valley the best place to live, shop, and dine, in or around East End while building lasting relationships along the way.
